How are the pictures created? Dan first draws a rough mock up of the picture in pencil, once the rough has been given the go-ahead he then traces over the rough on watercolour paper. The paper is then soaked and stretched. Once dry he then goes over the pencil drawing in black ink and finally colours the inked drawing using watercolour paint. Dan also does artwork in pencil, pen and ink and on computer.
