About the illustrator - Dan
Who is this guy? Hello, my name is Daniel Jeffery, born in 1980 and living in sunny Northampton.
General info. Dan's always had a passion (and some may say a talent) for drawing/painting and over the years he's developed and honed this “talent” in his spare time and on different college courses. When Dan begins a project/commission it usually begins as a pencil sketch this then can progress into a number of different forms.
For example, an acrylic or watercolour painting, a black and white pen and ink piece, or a bold and vibrant flat colour graphic using computer software (Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator.) Sometimes he might combine all of these different media into the same picture (see Dan's designs for the Carlsberg posters)....or that first rough pencil sketch might develop into a bigger and better pencil sketch.
Why should you commission Dan? With so many “creative types” like him taking up valuable space on this earth, what can he offer that’s different. Well, hopefully his work speaks for itself, and if Dan's work could speak, it would say it’s original, gets completed to meet your deadline, to a high professional standard and at a very reasonable price. Whether it’s an illustration, caricature/cartoon painting or a graphic design piece, hopefully no commission you throw his way is out of his comfort zone. Qualifications. BA Hons 2.1 Graphic Design and Illustration, from De Montfort University, studied at North Oxfordshire School of Art and Design (2001-2003.)
